Miss Laura
Growing up, Laura was surrounded by music, learning piano and guitar and singing in chorus, madrigal and jazz ensembles. As a new mom, Laura and her daughter enjoyed participating in Kindermusik classes. For two years Laura taught a mommy-and-me music class through Bellevue Community College's Parent Education program. It was here that she realized sharing her love of music and passion for early childhood education could actually be a career choice … and Kindermusik with Miss Laura was born! At its founding in 2007 it was the first music-based education program for youngsters aged zero to seven in North Central Washington. Outside of directing the Kindermusik program, Laura is active in Chelan Valley Players and the MOE Parent-Teacher Association, and enjoys cooking, scrapbooking, and exploring all the Valley has to offer with her husband, Mark and MOE kid, Sarah.
